the retro future is a concept i 1st experienced back in 1998 when i 1st started to know Mother. I heard it in the dance music, an ancient futuristic vibe i'd receive as i'd listen to the sounds, new to my ears, yet felt so familiar, but in an ancient way, like the sounds were part of the fabric of our very being.

i then started to see it in fashion and then a few years ago, i started to read articles about art and urban culture that were also picking up on this phenomenon - i believe it was in sync with the ascension and finally becoming free of the massive cycles... like we were at the very end and edge, yet starting over, but this time, without repeating.
